National Donate Life Blue & Green Day is Friday, April 17 – Brett’s Birthday!

Welcome and thank you for visiting Brett’s web page honoring his compassionate life changing decision to become a donor. Brett has been gone for over six years however his compassion for life has never left us. This year 2015, The National Donate Life Blue & Green Day is on his birthday. We ask that you take a moment on his birthday to read his story.

Our family encourages you to consider become an organ and tissue donor. Please take a few minutes and look at this website and make an informed decision. Then, take the next step and sign up to become an organ and tissue donor. The link at the bottom will take you to a quick, easy, and completely confidential on-line donor Registry.

You might be thinking, “I already have a pink sticky donor dot on my license, so I don’t need to sign on to the Registry.” The pink sticky dot on your license is no longer enough. California now has an official online Registry. Once you sign up on the Registry, you will never have to do another thing! Best of all, your family won’t have to make that decision for you at the time of death.

Brett’s Inspiring Story:

Brett was lovingly known as “Sea Turtle.” He was a young man full of life and love. He always had a smile on his face and a hug for anyone who needed one. Brett loved to be with his family and friends outdoors, whether it was waterskiing, scuba diving trips, playing air soft, countless Boy Scout outings, or being a cabin leader at Walden West Outdoor School.

His passion for life overflowed through his smile and he embraced life to the fullest, always finding the best in everyone.

We will all miss our smiling young man who showed us how to love life.

Please choose to help save lives. Together we can help save the life of someone’s loved one. Please take that same courageous step as Brett did and sign up today to be a donor in Brett’s memory.

You can leave the same legacy that Brett left…..the legacy of LIFE.
