AJ’s Miracle

Arthur Joven “AJ” Reyes was a young college student when a rare virus began to destroy his heart. His only hope for a normal life was to receive a transplant. Through many years of waiting, only a mechanical heart kept him alive until he received a most precious gift – a donated heart. Fully recovered, he now trains for half-marathons. Ever grateful for his miraculous recovery, he pays it forward by encouraging and educating members of the Filipino community to register as organ, eye and tissue donors.

Important Facts:

• 2,100 Asians and Pacific Islanders in Northern California are waiting for the gift of life

• 18 people die every day waiting for an organ transplant that never came

• The Catholic Church fully supports organ, eye and tissue donation

High concentration of Azithromycin in infected tissues is also caused by the fact that phagocytes and macrophages transport it to the site of infection and release in the area of inflammation. Azithromycin is prescribed in case of illness or injury at the time.
