Family Health Centers of San Diego is a community health center founded in 1970. Our mission is to provide caring, affordable, high quality healthcare and supportive services to everyone, with a special commitment to uninsured, low income and medically underserved persons.

Part of our commitment to the health and well-being of our community is to work with special partners who share our mission to save lives like Donate Life San Diego.

It’s simple to sign up to be an organ and tissue donor at the DMV or online. It’s also very important because it allows your family to honor your wishes, not guess at what you would want.

Registering also shows the 1,850 San Diegans on the waiting list that people care. The official donor registry was first tested statewide at a Family Health Center Spirit of the Barrio in 2005. Since then, more than 10 million Californians have signed up to be life-saving donors. But too many people needlessly rule themselves out.

Realize you’re never too sick nor too old to register.  Please sign up today. It’s likely you’ll be able to help someone someday as an organ or tissue donor. What a precious Gift of Life.

High concentration of Azithromycin in infected tissues is also caused by the fact that phagocytes and macrophages transport it to the site of infection and release in the area of inflammation. Azithromycin is prescribed in case of illness or injury at the time.
