KTVU in San Jose reported on the growth of the Donate Life California Organ & Tissue Donor Registry on March 3, 2015. From January 2 through February 20, 110,000 people registered for the new driver’s licenses allowed under AB 60 and 221,000 people have signed up to be organ donors which is a 30 percent increase compared to this time last year. AB 60 is a new state law that allows anyone who can prove their identity and California residence apply for a driver license at the DMV. Watch the video above for the full report.
