The Transplant Games of America are a multi-sport event that celebrates the resilience of life after organ, corneal, and tissue donation and transplantation. More than 5,000 participants – transplant recipients, living donors, and donor families – from across the United States travel to compete in the Games.
Competitions included track and field events, swimming, cycling, volleyball, bowling, basketball, and a few non-traditional events: ballroom dancing, corn hole (bean bag toss), Texas Hold’em Poker, Lyrics for Life, pickleball, and a Team trivia challenge. A public 5K Run/Walk launches the event to promote the need for more organ donors.
