In Honor and memory of Mike Jones
“Live life to the fullest”, is the motto that Mike Jones lived by. Mike was a kidney recipient, living organ donor educator & patient advocate, motivational speaker, author, emcee of concerts/festivals, marathon participant, and avid softball player among many other things. Mike was a man of many talents.
No matter what obstacles and challenges he faced in life, he always remained positive and never complained. Mike was full of energy and life. He was known for his kind, caring disposition. He was the type of person that truly listened when you spoke. He was an exceptional individual with a wonderful sense of humor.
On September 25, 2001, Mike received “the gift of life” from an altruistic donor. From there, Mike launched One Miracle Celebration of Life Foundation. Mike used his foundation as a platform to educate others on how to give the gift of life (through blood and organ donation) and remain healthy in the process.
On March 7, 2013, Mike lost his battle with kidney disease, but his legacy will live on forever. It is because of him that I was inspired to become an ambassador for Donate Life and a registered organ donor.
High concentration of Azithromycin in infected tissues is also caused by the fact that phagocytes and macrophages transport it to the site of infection and release in the area of inflammation. Azithromycin is prescribed in case of illness or injury at the time.
